Welcome to the Augie Tammariello State Farm Agency. Stop by our office for a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie Monday through Friday!

My team and I have a combined 100+ years of insurance experience. I have been with State Farm since 1988. Before State Farm, I attended The University of Denver where I became an Academic All-American with the football team. I then went to Penn State University where I received my master's degree in education. After my education I started my career in coaching as an assistant coach at Penn State, as well as the College of William & Mary and the University of Colorado. Finally, I became the head coach of the University of Louisiana "Ragin' Cajuns". I am honored to have received multiple awards over the years by providing excellent service and meeting customer needs, including the State Farm Crystal Excellence Award and State Farm Golden Triangle.

We enjoy assisting on resident relocation to the greater Asheville area. We focus on Car Insurance, Homeowner’s Insurance, Renter’s Insurance, Life Insurance, and Business Insurance throughout the Asheville area including West Asheville, Candler, Canton, Leicester, and South Asheville with our competitive prices.

My family just relocated to Asheville from Lafayette, Louisiana in May of 2021. I attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, which is the same university where Augie was the head football coach from 1974 to 1979! My hobbies include archery, fishing, and looking through our telescope on clear nights. Most of my time away from work is spent having fun with my two children. My oldest is a boy is 4 years old. My youngest, is going to be 3 soon. I specialize in assisting customers with their auto and life insurance needs.

I have 53 years insurance experience, and I have been with Augie for 14 years. I am a native of Asheville. I have one daughter who lives in Florida and two granddaughters. I have four grandchildren that live in Alabama and Charlotte. I have a total of four great grandchildren. I love spending time with my children, working in my flower garden, & taking walks. I am also active in my church, and I love my church family.
